How do I book a tutoring session?

Browse tutors by subject, language, availability, or price. Once you've found the right match, choose a time that works for you and book your session securely through Tutlee.

How are tutors verified?

Every tutor completes a verification process before teaching on Tutlee. We also encourage learners to leave ratings and reviews after every session to help maintain a trusted community.

Can I be both a learner and a tutor?

Absolutely. Many students learn in subjects they find challenging while tutoring others in subjects they excel at. You can switch between both roles whenever you need.

Can tutors create or join Study Rings?

No. Study Rings are designed exclusively for learners to encourage peer-to-peer collaboration without formal tutoring or instruction.

How do tutors get paid?

Tutors set their own hourly rates, and payments are processed securely through Tutlee. Once a session is completed successfully, earnings are transferred to the tutor according to the payout schedule.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?

Life happens. Learners can cancel or reschedule sessions based on the tutor's cancellation policy, which is displayed before booking.

How much does Tutlee cost?

Creating an account is free. Learners only pay for the tutoring sessions they book, while tutors can join for free and earn from completed sessions.

Is Tutlee available internationally?

How matching works
We match on your specific weak topic, not just the broad subject. A tutor may be excellent in Biology but weak in cell transport.
Tutor strength is verified via their KYT proficiency test, session ratings, and learner assessment pass rates.
If your post-session assessment shows no improvement, a different tutor match is suggested automatically.
