Tutlee automatically generates a short assessment based on what was covered in your session. Complete it within 48 hours — your score determines whether you move on to the next topic or a rebook is suggested.

Study Rings are open group sessions hosted by tutors — free to join, free to contribute. They're designed for peer collaboration and exam prep, separate from one-on-one paid tutoring.

Complete Know-Your-Tutor (KYT) verification: submit a government ID and academic credential, pass a subject proficiency test, and complete a short live demo teaching session. Unverified tutors cannot receive bookings.

You set your own hourly rate per subject. Payments are processed securely, and earnings are transferred to you according to the payout schedule once a session is completed.

Yes, tutors can create and host Study Rings. Note that Study Rings are for open peer collaboration, not formal one-on-one instruction.

Tutlee is built exclusively for students, so we verify accounts using university email addresses to confirm you're currently affiliated with an academic institution. If your university uses a non-standard domain, your account may be held briefly for manual review.

You can reschedule from My Sessions, based on your tutor's cancellation policy shown before booking. Rescheduling less than 1 hour before a session may incur a small penalty fee.

Yes. Payments are processed through secure, encrypted payment providers — Tutlee does not store your full card details.

Every tutor completes KYT verification before teaching. Learners can also leave ratings and reviews after every session to help maintain a trusted community.

Use the "Report harassment" or "Report academic fraud" options in Settings → Safety & Account. Reports are reviewed by our team, typically within 24 hours.
